First Wenzel’s bakery to open on new homes development comes to Aylesbury
Wenzel’s The Bakers has officially opened the doors to its first bakery on a housing development at Barratt David Wilson Homes’ Kingsbrook in Aylesbury.
After launching on 4th May, Wenzel’s will now provide its range of freshly baked pastries, sandwiches and cakes to Kingsbrook residents as well as the local Aylesbury community.
The opening comes as part of Barratt David Wilson North Thames’ commitment to enhance the local community, providing amenities on the doorsteps for its residents and elevating the site’s overall appeal. Located in the development’s Canal Basin area, Wenzel’s will form part of the development’s retail and community offerings.
To mark the launch, representatives from Wenzel’s welcomed the first set of customers to the store with sweet treats and drinks.
In addition to new homes, Kingsbrook also includes three new schools, children’s nurseries, retail units, community centres, 500+ acres of public green space, allotments and a 250-acre nature reserve.
Marc Woolfe, Sales and Marketing Director at Barratt David Wilson North Thames, commented, “It is fantastic to welcome Wenzel’s to our Kingsbrook development. As a family favourite, we know it will be well received by the local community, and we hope the team feel as at home moving to Canal Basin as our residents do.”
Peter Wenzel, Founder and Chairman of Wenzel’s the Bakers added, “Partnering with Barratt David Wilson North Thames is such a brilliant opportunity for us to extend our reach into new neighbourhoods, helping us to become a staple for even more families outside of London. We loved inviting the first set of customers to the store and look forward to getting to know more of the community over the next few months.”
Barratt David Wilson North Thames has a selection of homes available at its Kingsbrook development with a range of one, two, three and four-bedroom homes ideal for families, with prices starting at £231,500.
