Essex Wellbeing Service expands health and social care support with Priority Digital Health
The platform has already supported over 9,000 vulnerable people and hosted over 57,000 volunteer jobs
Digital healthcare software solutions provider Priority Digital Health has been selected to join a five-strong alliance of specialists on a mission to deliver health and social care support to more than 4.5 million residents in Essex.
The alliance of Priority Digital Health, HCRG Care Group, RCCE, Age Well East, and Terrence Higgins Trust, led by Provide CIC, forms a unique combination of private, social enterprise and voluntary sector organisations. Together, they will support the delivery of the Essex Wellbeing Service (EWS), for at least the next five years.
EWS provides health and social care support to Essex residents aged 16+ and registered with a GP. Whether it’s help to quit smoking, social isolation support, weight management, or support with day-to-day needs, the service helps employers, families and communities to stay healthy, safe and well.
EWS is powered by Priority Digital Health’s Priority Platform, a case management system that digitises lifestyle services bookings; volunteer sign-up and management; and referral or self-referral for support. In addition, Priority Digital Health is driving and managing the uptake of EWS services to patients across Essex through integrated communications.
“Here at Priority Digital Health, we’re fuelled by a shared passion for whole body wellness and the belief that prevention is better than cure,” says Alison Meadows, Joint CEO of Priority Digital Health, “this holistic approach allows us to design and deliver leading edge digital healthcare products and services that are person-centric and in line with ever-changing digital trends and healthcare needs.”
“Partnering with the EWS has been great: we thoroughly enjoyed being an integral part of the excellence that is their offering over the course of the pandemic, and to be embarking on the next chapter of their journey, in supporting the residents through the EWS, is a privilege.”
John Dibb, Joint CEO of Priority Digital Health, commented:
“We’re delighted to see that the Essex Wellbeing Service (EWS) has already seen huge benefits from this one interoperable, scalable and secure platform, and to be able to deliver such a vast range of efficient and impactful health and wellbeing support during a time which can be unsettling and uncertain for a lot of people is really something special.”
