Wisbech technology company secures second sales performance award
Anglia Components, the Wisbech based supplier of key electronic components to the UK technology industry, has been named STMicroelectronics ‘UK Demand Creation Distributor of the Year for the second time in a row. STMicroelectronics is Europe’s second largest manufacturer of silicon chips.
Presenting the award in person during a recent visit to Anglia, Iain Currie, Managing Director UK & Ireland at STMicroelectronics said, “Demand creation, or identifying opportunities where our innovative technologies can benefit customers, is one of the most essential aspects of the work of our distribution partners, and it is an area in which Anglia truly excels. We rigorously analyse demand creation performance for the whole of our UK network, assessing the opportunities identified and the business that followed. Anglia has a clear lead on this measure, and we congratulate their team on their hard work, dedication and standout service.”
