Rising stars at Motor Marketing bag awards at inaugural apprenticeship awards

A RISING star has bagged an award for her exceptional growth throughout her apprenticeship at a marketing firm.

At the celebration of local talent, determination, and professional growth, Sienna Edmondson, a 17-year-old apprentice at Motor Marketing UK, secured the coveted Intermediate Apprentice of the Year Award at the inaugural News and Observer Apprenticeship Awards.

Held on Thursday, November 10 at the Marriott Hotel in Portsmouth, the first-of-their-kind awards shone a light on the top level of hardworking apprentices, training providers and employers throughout the Portsmouth and Chichester areas.

Sienna began her apprenticeship at the age of 16, choosing the path of a level-2 customer service apprentice through Boom Training.

Over the past year, she has not only demonstrated an exceptional work ethic but has also served as an inspirational leader for others embarking on their own apprenticeship journeys at MMUK.

The award recognises Sienna’s growth and outstanding contributions to her role, particularly in quality assurance, giving Sienna a positive reputation at the firm for her meticulous attention to detail.

The Intermediate Apprentice of the Year Award is a testament to Sienna’s dedication, passion, and the profound impact apprenticeships can have on young individuals. Sienna’s success is not just a personal triumph but a shining example of the opportunities and growth potential that apprenticeship programs can offer.

Bethany Johnson also made the finals of the Advanced Apprentice of the Year award and Motor Marketing made the finals for Employer of the Year.

Managing Director Shevani Wilson expressed her pride in her hardworking apprentices, saying: ‘ We are so proud of Sienna’s achievement in her short time with MMUK.  Sienna celebrates her one year work anniversary later this month and it’s just wonderful to see her grow and develop in her role.  Both Lilly and Beth have also excelled in their development and we are honoured to have had 3 of our apprentices short listed.’
