Resolution to Reality: L&Q offers additional support for buyers in January


Putting homeownership within easier reach, those who reserve a new Shared Ownership home at selected developments between the 2nd – 31st January will receive up to £5,000 towards their buying costs, plus £1,000 in vouchers after moving in. The incentive maintains L&Q’s commitment to supporting new buyers; a goal that saw over 1,100 households helped onto the property ladder throughout 2023.

The New Year Shared Ownership incentive will be available across selected L&Q developments both in and outside of London, catering for buyers across a wide geographical area.

Shared Ownership allows people to secure a new home with a lower deposit through buying a percentage share of a property and paying a reduced rent on the unowned portion. Prices for L&Q’s Shared Ownership homes start from just £65,000 for a 25% share, with deposits as low as £3,250. Already an affordable stepping stone to homeownership, L&Q’s New Year incentive will further ease initial costs for new purchasers, and provide support for them to kit out their new home once they have the keys.
