Former Dragons’ Den judge Theo Paphitis rewards Hertfordshire maths tuition business owner.

Lindsey Fekete, who owns maths tuition business Reach Online Tutoring, received the award from former Dragons’ Den entrepreneur Theo Paphitis. Small Business Sunday (SBS) was created by Theo over 10 years ago and is one of the leading small business networks in the UK.

Lindsey, who has 23 years of experience in education, won the award with her online maths tuition business which is based in Hertfordshire, but supports children aged 6 to 18 throughout the UK.

With a strong focus on building confidence in maths, Lindsey works with a small team of tutors to provide a range of tuition options and resources, adapted to suit each child’s needs.

Lindsey said: “After working as a teacher, then a deputy head for 21 years, I saw how confidence affected so many children’s maths learning and I am thrilled to be selected by Theo Paphitis and recognised for the work we are doing supporting children’s confidence and skills in maths.

“Only 1 percent of businesses who apply receive the award, and I am honoured that Reach Online Tutoring won this fantastic award, for all our efforts making a difference to so many children with their maths confidence.”
