Anchor opens its doors at The Landings in Kings Hill

To help the 80% of people not fully understanding options available to them in later life*, not-for-profit later-living provider Anchor hosted an open-house event at its later living community The Landings in Kings Hill.

Anchor offered potential buyers and residents the opportunity to tour The Landings, comprising 75 luxury one- and two-bedroom apartments, to discover all the development has to offer. As well as viewing the stylish apartments and enjoying a taste of the new on-site bistro.

Sandra Walters, Sales Consultant at The Landings, said: “We were excited to host an open day at The Landings, and hope this event gave guests a great taste of what life is like at this unique and vibrant community. Making decisions about moving home can be challenging, but our goal is to make the process as worry-free as possible, providing support and answers for prospective buyers and a wealth of amenities and onsite facilities for our residents.”

Providing a new community for people aged over 55, The Landings includes a range of on-site communal facilities including a beauty salon, landscaped gardens, seated patio area and bistro on the ground floor. The development also features cosy pocket drawing rooms for quiet reflection, with its top floor lounge boasting floor-to-ceiling windows looking over the neighbourhood for those looking to soak in the sun.

Found within the popular area of Kings Hill, each apartment has beautifully styled kitchens and modern bathrooms with chrome fixtures and fittings, including underfloor heating and a level access walk-in shower. A former airfield, Kings Hill has a colourful history, forming part of the RAF West Malling base and used as a landing area in the First World War. The colour theme throughout the development pays tribute to the site’s history and the art deco style ties in with the former RAF base.

Drop-in visits are welcome on the day of the open event, or guests can RSVP by calling 01732 608873 or emailing
