After what feels like a long winter and spending a lot of time indoors, many of us are looking forward to having get-togethers in the garden this year as the warmer months roll in. That’s why Furniture Maxi have researched the best places in the UK and Europe to host or attend a garden party – with some surprising finds in the UK top 10.

The UK can often feel lacking in warm, dry weather, but research into the areas with the highest average summer temperatures and lowest typical rainfall revealed a range of seaside towns and inland cities that are a cut above the rest. Brighton offers high average temperatures in summer months as well as low average rainfall, which places the region above other seaside towns like Great Yarmouth and Seaham.
