‘Good’ nursing home in Frittenden, Kent, sold to family buyers
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Larchmere House Nursing Home in the affluent area of Frittenden, Kent.
Larchmere House is a well-established, profitable nursing home registered for up to 33 residents. It was rated ‘Good’ by the CQC, has an excellent reputation, and enjoys consistently high occupancy levels.
The home was previously owned by Mr Steve and Mrs Lisa Wootton who recently decided to sell to pursue retirement. Following a confidential sales process with Christie & Co, it has been sold to the Lingam family who are first-time buyers.
Steve Wootton comments, “When considering the sale of Larchmere House after almost 20 years of ownership, a major consideration was a confidential sale and John Harrison was able to recommend to us how to do this having recently sold another local care home in this way. We are pleased to have now completed the sale to the Lingam family who are also another family business, and we are now looking forward to enjoying our retirement.”
Vino Lingam comments, “We are delighted to have completed our purchase of Larchmere House and we are looking forward to continuing the reputation which Larchmere House has built up as a family business offering good quality care.”
John Harrison, Director – Healthcare at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “It is fantastic to have completed the confidential sale of Larchmere House on behalf of the Wootton family and to welcome the Lingam family to the care sector who will be able to use their business experience to continue the next chapter of the home. The sale is one of a number of care homes we have recently completed in the South East, with strong interest continuing to be shown in the sector.”
Larchmere House Nursing Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
