Kreston Reeves has advised Sussex packaging company Neville and More on its sale to global packaging leader TricorBraun.

The sale for an undisclosed sum was completed on 17 March 2022.

Sussex based Neville and More is one of the UK’s leading providers of glass, aluminium and plastic packaging across the food and drink, pharmaceutical, personal care, household and industrial markets.

The company was established in 1952 and acquired in 1992 by David Sharpe who, with his wife Claire Sharpe built the business into a multi-million-pound operation with customers including many well-known brands.

The sale will see the business continue to operate under the Neville and More name but with the global support of TricorBraun giving a platform for continued growth and expansion. Joe Mazzilli, TricorBraun’s UK sales director for the past decade, will serve as Managing Director.

The Kreston Reeves team was led by Partners Simon Webber and Jack Clipsham with support from client manager Annemarie Fern and members of the Kreston Reeves tax team.

Commenting on the sale, Simon said: “We were delighted to advise Neville and More on its sale to TricorBraun. The business has developed into one of the UK’s leading packaging providers and the sale will continue to see it grow and thrive as part of the TricorBraun family.”

Claire Sharpe from Neville and More commented: “Simon Webber, Jack Clipsham and the Kreston Reeves team were a key element in completing the successful sale of Neville and More. Their advice and support was detailed, pragmatic and timely giving me great reassurance throughout the process.”

Legal advice to Neville and More was provided by Mark Lucas and his team at Moore Barlow LLP.
